The Founder
I was born in Massachusetts and raised in Cancun. After getting married, I moved back to Massachusetts, where I went to school and developed a deep interest in behavior and its potential for change. This fascination led me to dedicate my studies—and now my career—to helping others reach their full potential through behavior management.
I believe that everyone, from children with disabilities or neurotypical children to adults and organizations, can benefit from effective behavior management. I've seen its positive impact firsthand with my own daughter. By applying behavioral strategies early on, I helped her grow into an independent and passionate learner.
Wired Behavior is centered on this principle: empowering parents, educators, and organizations to help their children or employees achieve their full potential using proven behavioral strategies.
Hi, I am Stephanie!
How I Know What I Know
The more I learned about behavior, the hungrier I became to learn all that I could do to benefit others.
I began my studies with a masters in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavioral Analysis and throughout the years, I obtained a teaching certificate with a specialization in Special education, a School Director’s license in the state of Florida and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Work Endevours
My journey in the ABA field began over 10 years ago in Massachusetts when I worked as a behavior therapist at an ABA company. From there, I took on an additional role working for the state, providing early intervention services. This role allowed me to develop a wide range of skills while collaborating with a diverse team that included speech therapists, occupational therapists, feeding specialists, etc. I then transitioned back into the education field where I gained over five years of classroom experience teaching both general ed. and special education classes from kindergarten through 5th grade to finally become an Assistant Principal at a special education school focused primarily on children with cerebral palsy.
In addition to my clinical and administrative experience, for the past decade, I've also been traveling to Mexico, conducting workshops on behavioral strategies for parents, educators, psychologists, and business owners in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and hotels. These experiences have equipped me with a wealth of knowledge that I'm passionate about sharing with others.
